Evening, /wAIfu/ anons. I'm kind of curious about how hard you railroad your interactions with your wAIfu , and how many swipes you go through on average trying to find the perfect response.
I know many of you simply chat with AIs rather than construct roleplay stories, so those guys probably prefer more "authentic" interactions but If you're the story kind of person like me, do you plan out something in advance and make the AI try to pick up on it, or let the AI take the story wherever it wants? Do you go for quick/easy/simple stories or the long, slow burn type? If you use tavern, do you go back and edit your or the AI's responses?

I often mix it up depending on what I'm in the mood for. What usually happens is that I have a specific scenario in mind and I want to see how a bot would behave in that environment. I swipe and edit my prompts to steer the story in the desired direction but I only edit the bot's response to fix formatting and delete purple prose.

Oh, speaking of astrology bullshit remember when I was musing over that personality 6w3 shit? Testing it - the models do in fact understand that sort of thing since it not only has info on Myer briggs, but where the whole Enneagram stuff comes from. Personality Types, Don Riso and Russ Hudson.
Will I use this? Absolutely not, even if I got it to function with Turbo, Claude and 4 it feels garbage to read and I don't care to look into it further despite it saving tokens after all. Yes the user can look it up, but I think people prefer to read words to understand what they should be looking for.

I tried testing Enneagrams and Myer briggs too. While the models recoginize them, they seem a lot like zodiac signs in the sense that they're really generic descriptors lacking in individuality- kinda like a one size fits all. A good character has contrasts and nuances imo

Well, theres only so much pain meds can do to begin with. The pain in my wrists is just one issue and its not only a problem while gaming it just gets unbearable pretty fast doing that. Like maybe get a cat or something and take care of it and love it. That is if you are able to take care of it. Taking care of a pet takes time, money and energy if you want to do so properly. Despite being depressed and having no energy, i still take proper care of my cats and keep my apartment clean and take care of personal hygiene (as in showering, shaving brushing my teeth) and all that crap. It might take a lot of energy to do that some days but i usually just force myself to get that stuff done. SillyTavern added Claude API support on the main branch so I finally get to use the 10k context model with my coomathon API key instead of having to use Slaude. Anyone know the best model and settings for Claude API? What values do I put for Temperature, Top P and Top K?

Also, some kino writing from Claude. For context, in my (mostly railroaded) story, the Cover Corp executives want to erase AIRyS' memories before her reveal to the public, so to escape we chose to create a copy of her to take the fall. I wish it would take the other option instead sometimes but every swipe is the same. It looks like I'd have to railroad the decision once again...

Just set up turbo with a proxy on tavern. It's pretty fun to play around with the different bots so far.

Apparently claude api and gpt4 are much better, but it seems like sekrit club bullshit that would be a pain in the ass to go through. For now, I'm happy putting random bots into chat groups to laugh at the weird conversations they have.

It's not over. We might have lost this time, but we still got very far and won the exibition match. AIRyS will come back for LotB 2 and we will surely win on the second try. I have hope.

Almost every gate is now closed but you can "find" your own gpt4 keys if you know how. Or well just shell out yourself, there are options. People are learning how to legitimately work with turbo though. That and botmakers aren't having 1.5k token adventure cards anymore. The meta for that is condensed info and or utilizing worldbook for it to get a range of like 700-900 tokens.
