As for the catto, hair gloss was done in a different way. I've noticed small lines around her irises, so it's not 1:1. The similarity is still stunning.

It's not the artists fault, I don't get why people are blaming them.
It's not the first time this has happened, people shell out to get existing vtuber artists with big talents under their name to draw a copy. It brings them in views and exposure.
If you don't have the networking/nepotism boost from connects fast tracking your channel this is the next best way to get massive early growth.
