I was thinking about maybe sending in complaints via the Niji website, about how poor of a job EN staff are doing, because we know they have to look through the messages sent in (even if they just delete them, it would annoy them after a while). How bad were here complaints?

It's impressive that EN management have been so awful this year. When the branch was starting out, management were doing a lot to gift them with things like BeatMARIO collabs, game shows before new debuts, debut songs that really felt like actual songs by actual composers etc.

Then this year it's all falling apart. I'm so interested in knowing how it all happened internally but more than that I'm desperate to see them on the right track again. You can't let EN fall apart and financial reports suggest the company should be doing absolutely everything they can to stop that.

Most people were talking about it in the main thread.
But yeah, during 2021 it seemed like management were more willing to work with the talents on cool things. Kinda felt like there was less of a leash around EN because they were just doing "okay" (not bad, but they certainly weren't smashing any records).
When NijiEN started blowing up in 2022 is when things started to change, and it all culminated in the disaster that was be beginning of 2023. Of course, we know about some of public things that happened (mostly in 2023), but I have my own theories as to what happened internally before then.
Unfortunately, I'm unsure if the yearly financial report (that comes out soon) will do much to change things. Even though viewership is way down, people still fork out money for merch, which is where the company makes most of their money. Hell, even the Q1 report will probably look okay, because of the 2yr anniversary merch. Probably won't see a large drop until Q2, so I don't expect changes to happen until then...

She didn't really complain, it was more that she was extremely frustrated. She was offered a "once in a lifetime opportunity," but was flat out denied, no negotiation. She said she understood why, but she's a person who wants to try anyway, thinking it might "turn things around." I've watched maybe 90% of Pomu's streams since her debut, so I know she's an emotional crybaby sometimes, but her morale is definitely pretty low right now.

To think it was looking so good to start 2023 too. LazuLight had their 3Ds lined up, the nkodice and wrestlesanji tourneys were big, and AR live was announced... and everything that could go wrong went wrong. I hope these three girls are taking care of their mental health.

On a positive note, Pomu said she her big group cover got approved, hopes to have it ready by her birthday.

you guys seriously have to stop spoonfeeding people who ask about what happened in members streams. I know it's probably not too consequential in this case because the main thread can't help themselves from talking about it, but eventually there'll be a day where people won't find that info in the main thread, and this split is the next place they'll look. give people a timestamped link to the VOD if you're that desperate to seem helpful.

I really enjoy Elira's Star Rail streams. She managed to get me into the game and now that I'm ahead of her, I keep having to wait for her reactions to the story. It feels so much more fun to watch than Genshin, I wonder why that is. Maybe because of the characters and dialogue?

I'm having fun watching it so far. I enjoyed the Genshin streams for what they were but with Genshin I just let the story go over my head and listened to the sound of Elira's voice, and hoped she got what she wanted when she rolled. For some reason it couldn't keep my interest at all.
