Tune into her karaokes if you want her singing talent. She's easily the most skilled in EN (shitters will listen to a Moom or Goomba basic bitch campfire song and proclaim them to be the greatest ever), and she's probably close to on par with the best of JP. Unfortunately it looks like she doesn't have much control over music production since few if any of her songs play to her strengths, and it shows with the lack of passion she has for them. Just look at the debacle when they couldn't even give her the right name for her song. It's a shame that it took so long for her avatar to get fixed, and it's a bigger shame that it's taking so long for her music to be managed better.

Sora's music all sounds the same. Irys doesn't impart any personality when she sings. You could swap her vocals with someone else without noticing. She doesn't "own" her music, she just vocalizes it. Mori's rapper voice makes me feel like someone's trying to do a parody. Suisei is pretty much the gold standard, Azki has a lot of songs on my playlist too. Moona and Risu need more originals to show off their skills.

Anyone ranking Calli below IRyS or Sora are coping hard. In terms of quality of original songs, Calli is on par with Suisei and absolutely mogs IRyS/Sora. Poor IRyS is debuffed by having to follow some thematic narrative with her music and having no input on it so it's a bit unfair to even include her, but I'll admit Gravity, Here Comes Hope, and Berserker are alright. Her Journey EP is also not bad. Technically speaking, IRyS is a great singer but she hasn't been on the grind long enough to develop a catchy, unique style and is lacking direction. IRyS has a lot of potential but at the moment there's nothing too impressive about her original music.

Calli has an impressive collection of bangers though, such as Red, Mera Mera, Let's End the World, Wanted Wasted, Glass Slipper there's probably more early songs I could include but the fact most of these are recent tells you she's not a slouch and people like listening to her music.

I'm glad I don't have to argue Suisei's case, it looks like everyone agrees that she's great.

Pre-/Post-UMG is a good solid cut-off, but the real one is the much more blurry transition from "goofy upstart" to "cringe sellout" as she got full of herself.
The technical quality of the music didn't really change, though some of her post-UMG stuff is just rushed garbage to keep a deadline, but the perception of her as an artist did and with it the perception of her music.
