My rrat is that Nijisanji EN's management is genuinely trying to create an army of obedient slaves and some of them are dumb enough that'd they'd rather push out older or popular talents that stand up to them rather than try and compromise.
Its the only explanation why they went from incompetent to outright malicious this year. But they're also trying to guilt trip them to prevent any Zaion or Yugo situations where they can strike out and do just fine on their own.
