5 general friendly tips for new streamers
1. Who you know matters more than what you do on stream. No streamer has ever started with a 0 view debut and made it big. If you don't have the friends/network to get at least a double digit debut don't even start streaming.
2. If you're using a female avatar put tits front and center. They need to always be visible so if you plop yourself in the corner for a game make sure the avatar is raised enough to see tits. Nobody is watching for any other reasons until you're well known and getting 4 digit views.
3. Any attention on your channel is good attention. Doing or saying something controversial that pisses people off could be the difference between you staying invisible forever and you having tons of eyes on you.
4. If you're a female streamer audition for an agency, even a tiny one. Most do contracts for a year and you can just jump ship after, but having the experience is practically mandatory if you want a real agency to ever look at you.

They are ok, but ultimately I don't have the time to watch vtubers anymore.
I wasn't aware of this at first, but I really wanted to work towards becoming a nijisanji vtuber. with what's been going on recently I don't think I want to do that anymore. And to keep doing something when you don't have a goal in mind feels futile. I somewhat enjoy recording and editing videos, but streaming drains me and people just expect streams out of vtubers.

I'm so done with artist twitter. Trying to get stuff comissioned there is some of the most frustrating shit I've been through. Have you guys had better experience with japanese/korean sites like skeb, booth, pixiv etc? I haven't tried it yet, but I'mm guessing so, just cause of asian culture diff.

Half of the time on twitter, they straight up do not answer, even though they got sub 1kfollowers, their bio is COMMS OPEN!!! and they're basically begging for money all over their feed. If you do get in contact with them, they're either like "i need more info" or "too much info- this is too tedious/complex!!" and then most of the time they just ghost you after you make adjustments. Like, if you don't want to do a job, that's fine, but at the very least be professional and answer your potential clients, saying "Thank you for the interest, but I have to decline." Don't complain daily about A.I taking your job if you're being this entitled and lazy.

And it's not like I'm rude or overly demanding or anything. My day job in the ad industry consists of sending professional emails all day, sometimes being in touch with freelancers, so I know my requets are concise and polite enough.The only time I've had success on artist twitter, it's either from 16 years old from the Phillipines or Hong Kong, prob cause of work culture diff, or from actual professionals who have their queue full until winter. If I need to get shit done, I have to pay friends or IRL contacts, but that's not always optimal when you're trying to stay anon. I guess bye bye twitter, hello skeb.
