I stumbled upon Ame for the first time in the L4D2 collab. I didn't know much about Hololive at all, it was just in my recommended. The first solo stream of hers I saw was a Super Sunday on November 8th or 9th I believe. Something about her drew me in. Her voice, her laugh, that smile, even though it was a superchat reading she just sucked me in. I gave my first superchat and joined her membership that day. I think I really wanted to be part of the wave of HICs. Once I actually watched her play games and sing karaoke, I knew she was my Oshi. The rest is history. The news about Coco makes me very sad, but it also makes me appreciate Ame even more.

I finally got a shipping notification for the Birthday merch, so that's neat.

I think she admitted that the first episode was a bit rough structure wise (even if it was very funny, cute, and entertaining) and she's even considering omitting the room review, but we could always have her own meme review segment by looking through her #Ameme tag.
Since Ina's the next guest there's probably gonna be some kinda drawing segment too.

Meme Review now, but I'm always interested in the myriad titles she manages to find. I wonder how many small titles Holos have permissions for now because Amelia asked.
First stream of hers I watched was the Convenience Store VoD I watched in chunks over half a week while Antichamber was the one I caught live. I wouldn't call her my Oshi but she is one of the three Holos I like keep up with (Ina and Reine are the other two). Regardless I'm grateful for her being my gateway to Chuubas.

In hindsight, her playing Ochame Kinou at the end of the last Supa Sunday and singing SSS in English were all in honour of unity and in honour of Coco.

One thing I'm hoping for as this will be Holos first real graduation, it will spur Holos from all branches to do even more collabs for all the talents to grow closer to one another.

Imagine Ame joining Towa's APEX team or Ame and Miko collab. Also might actually force Cover to consider giving ALL the branches 3D models for concerts, but that's more a challenge of logistics I feel.

I'm looking forward to both streams on Saturday, despite the news about Coco's graduation (and the entire week being a banger of must-watches).
I was listening to the uno collab between Coco, FBK, Marine, and PPT live, and if they can have fun so soon after the announcement, then as a fan, I'll do my best to remember the good times and see the silver linings. One door closes, another opens; there's beauty in pain kinda thing.

Then a few months later, DKC was the first vid I watched on her channel live, which almost lead to me dropping her but there was just something about Amelia that kept me watching.

Funnily enough, not until her playthrough of Super Mario Sunshine (which other teamates don't seem to care much for) and even then not until the very end.
The whole playthrough is quintessential Ame for me though (e.g. her struggling with the lilypad level, glitching Yoshi out with the foam on two different occasions, using her time powers on that level where you have to clean the beach in 3 minutes, etc.)
However, when she beat the pachinko level with the rocket nozzle, I membered to her then and there. Chat even tried to convince her that the rocket nozzle was bad for pachinko, but she persevered regardless, and it was that perseverance that I admired.
In a way, watching Ame succeed in Sunshine was similar to that one, well-known scene in Fate Stay/Night when Shirou is trying so hard to do the high jump.
Her never-say-die attitude is as endearing as it is contagious.

I just finished watching her collab with Mori. It was fun and they were both much better at communicating than their last stream together. This is just my take, but I think their collabs in general can sometimes (emphasis on the sometimes) suffer in the same way. Not necessarily for the same reasons though - Ame can often be too quiet and shy, while Mori will give off the impression that she doesn't really care and shows less enthusiasm. So to people who don't watch enough of them it just appears as if they aren't interested.
Like I said, people who watch them regularly know this isn't actually the case. So I'm glad the stream went well.
