Zaion catered to the gacha community much better than the current talents in Niji, especially Genshin with her nearly max level account. She could have pulled in her PL community and bring in new views from the more hardcore Genshin or other gacha communities. This would have been a great strategy to increase the Niji fanbase as now people are slowly leaving to other corpos or indies. She was dedicated and invested a lot to this strategy because it was only something she could do and very unique to her. It was a plan that worked to her strengths and could benefit Nijisanji as well. But having that struck down without good reason is very demoralizing.

Her personal manager just had to work with her to find a compromise instead of just relaying information with higher management and deny her requests. Like if money was the issue then maybe a percentage of donations in-game could be taken out of her revenue for Nijisanji. And if PL information was the issue, she can cover her game id (which was the original solution), clear her current friends list, or maybe even reach out to Mihoyo or the third party gifting site to deny the primogem gifts for Zaion. At least, that would have made Zaion feel like her manager had her best interests in mind.

Let's be honest. Finana is a very mid streamer. Zaion is much better at keeping a conversation than Finana and engages much more with her chat. Better voice and reactions. But more importantly, Zaion understands her community and how to foster and culture it for growth especially in the gacha scene.

Many gacha viewers are usually ones that are already invested in the game, either a lot of time, money or both. I would know, I am one of them. Finana started from the beginning which is exciting at first but gets very boring as you are just going through the Intro storyline and the motions for the other chapters - which every gacha player has gone through multiple times either due to having multiple accounts, rerolling for better initial characters, or watching other gacha streamers. Gacha viewers want to see mid- to end-game content and, of course, the gacha. Because Zaion already had an end-game account and a wealth of knowledge of the game, she could have done many different challenges or discuss with chat about in-game knowledge or strategies which would have been very interesting content. She could have been like Selen, but instead of Apex, Genshin. After using her comfort game to establish an audience, then she could of branched out to her variety content.

Whereas on Twitch, it's just a glorified chatroom where people barely even watch the stream and just shitpost in the chat instead. Look at streamers like xQc or forsen. The people in the chat obviously care more about chatting with each other than the streamers themselves. You can't just add live-streaming to an existing platform and expect the Twitch crowd to come. Twitch culture is for low-lives, losers and children. Youtube has children and losers too but also normal and even successful people mixed in, because it's fucking Youtube, everything's on there. Twitch chuubas are far more likely to converge on the same tactics of shouting and screeching a lot (for ""humor"") to build up artificial hype, and being coomers if not outright straight-up whorish. It's a convergent evolution thing - that content fits the Twitch audience better, reflecting their mix of children and boomer coomers.
