so the cycle goes like

-upgrade gear to improve dps and tankiness

and this loops goes all the way beyond finishing the story mode, to the atlas maps (tier 1 to tier 16), to atlas bosses and uber bosses

This. I've actually stopped typing in the chat aside from "hi" and "bye", because I don't know PoE and hack'n'slash is really boring to watch. And there are too many streams of this. At least full Thief week back in the day had actual story progression that we could see in real time, not this skinnerbox with numbers.

We probably made a mistake by helping Lumi with her RF build, the damage and regen is too good and she's breezing through the acts. If she played her own build she'd probably struggle more and likely be satisfied with just finishing the campaign.
