Cover has grown very big and ambitious. They're thinking more in terms of profits, business opportunities and sponsorships than creative freedom for their talents, which is the very thing that made them popular in the first place. It sucks, but it's just something that happens when an overarching company is in charge rather than people who have actual experience in the business.

My guess is that Coco gave them an ultimatum about wanting to be treated like all the other talent instead of being restricted due to subhuman Chinese bugmen sperging out that they didn't (or couldn't) meet and decided to part ways because of it.

Holoalt is successful garnering large amount of Chinese investors that will fund the multimedia project (Games, Anime, Manga). Kaichou, not fitting the idol framework is pondering on taking another path. The chinese investors and Kaichou has decided on a bargain.
