I think there's been like two groundhog day loop style prompts that have been proposed.

What's your favorite series and why?
I really like Cover High. It's a nice and grounded high-school love drama that would almost certainly make a great anime with a well rounded cast of characters that each get their own moments within to have the spotlight and add a lot to it. The world it's in is great as well with the magic systems and stuff that also isn't just there and is a critical plot element which makes it feel more important.

I think it's hard to pick a sole favorite, since different series do different things for me.
HoloFantasy is what got me to try writing fantasy again. Not only is it a fun and exciting read with its own unique world and encounters, but how the characters interact and overcome obstacles is what really inspired me to finally create the story I always wanted to tell somewhere deep down.
First Summer Memories is a delightful story of finding things that were once lost. How the author portrays that type of uncertainty that comes with fragmented memories hits just right.
To be 17 Again gives me the Mio smut I CRAVE, as well as wonderfully illustrates the whirlwind of a new love even in the less than ideal circumstances it blossoms from.
There's so much good shit that got to receive life here, and I'm so glad that it keeps on coming. Oneshot Anons and series anons alike are awesome.

Me personally I just love Our Cures, and most series by MattheAnon.

There's not a lot of good description to any of it really, so it comes off pretty uninspired and feeling more like a fight scene transcript, which given how visceral and clever the action of Ajin is, is a crying shame. The dialogue suffers from the exact same problems, and Sato explaining himself like it's Dragonball does him a disservice, cause I certainly don't remember him talking like that.

I think it not doing anything particularly interesting, even with it's poor execution, is probably why it wasn't talked about.

I think it was just missing something that made it memorable. There’s a lot of things writers can use to make their stories stand out. Woke up from this weird dream i had for the second time. It's about Gura fighting and trying to kill every holomen as vengeance for getting her father killed (she killed towa which actually made me cry). They all have this weird power coming from their emotion and the stronger the emotion is, the more potent the power is. Gura has this blueish power that is supposed to be all about trust, but they said the situation became dire when she felt betrayed by Watson for letting their father die. (Yes 'their', i have no fucking idea why they have the same father) Apparently Watson's power is supposed to be loyalty and it's all about protecting and shit but Watson lost this power and it was passed on someone else, that's why she failed to protect their father. It's super fucking surreal and it's hazy but i remember some of the other girl's power. Calli has the power of love that became pure seething rage when she found out Tower died and Towa has this purple power that is strengthened from family. This power was passed on her fucking wife who i have no fucking idea who. Anyways last i remember is they're really going at it fighting with other holomen (i think pekora was there to with orange power) and then suddenly a fucking hooded anon swoops in to save Ame from Gura who was about to kill her. The fucking anon has Watson's power and was protecting her. I wanna go back to sleep just to see what happens.

No, Towa is just another one with power who came to talk to her and convince her to not destroy the whole world. The interesting part is their powers is dome kind of apparition that manifests and can become a weapon. The hooded anon has a yellow glowing shield, Calli has a big blood dripping sword, Pekora was in a suit but she was long ranged and firing orange beams, Gura's power looked like water manipulation because she was gonna tidal wave and drown the entire world. No towa because she never used hers and it was passed on her 'wife' who became unconscious upon receiving towa's power (ame was going to save towa's wife after she killed her but got into fight with gura instead)

It seems like there's kind of a theme of Gura being stuck in the family she was born in, while other people go out, meet new people and create new families, and so Gura feels left behind. Watson lost her power that could have protected their father, and the person that got it is a nobody (not part of the family) but feels already pretty close to Ame. It's like Ame's focus moved from her father/Gura to the anon. Then there's Towa that has a power that is all about family that was passed on to her wife, and if IRyS is indeed her mother it's another kind of "family you create over the family you were born in" situation. Or maybe even just friends, it could be that Gura didn't really have any friends. It's also highlighted by the fact that Gura lost a parent, but then killed a child, again some kind of opposition. Not sure what to do with Ina/Mori/Towa's wife/the green power/Pekora.

All in all pretty interesting. Have you read/watched anything recently that could have inspired that?

I thought it was a fun dream at first but i had to retell it when i was able to experience it again. Ina in the dream was mad at her too and it seems like they're all supposed to be adopted sisters, weirdly enough, I didn't see the connection of irys from the rest of the girls which could mean that they have different mothers because i faintly remember Calli wanting to call her mom

Also a bit more context, the dream started with me just watching towa and she was talking about how she plans to talk to Gura and trusts that she'll come around. She was doing this very casually and happily in a stream like she's sure that she'll change her mind, even joking that she'll be the next in line to be in vengeance mode if anyone hurts Gura. I made it too casual but Gura was hurting when she killed Towa, she died in her arms,(i think she stabbed her when towa hugged her)

Oh, the additional details are great too. At first I wasn't sure how to make a story that works with both side being """nice people""" but one person wants to destroy the world, the ones I've seen usually have a common enemy and the whole destroying the world is in the background. But with Towa being very optimistic and being suddenly killed you can totally treat Gura as an antagonist. And you can start with Towa's point of view of underestimating Gura's anger or not knowing her very well, so then you have some kind of twist when she gets killed. And it even ties in to Gura's trust power. Maybe all the people around her more or less agreed with Towa and completely misunderstood Gura, so when she needed help the most, she had no one to rely on.

Is doing bait and switch with tags a thing? I expected something along the lines of what it was tagged as, and instead got a great story that touches on some difficult point, and does it well. Ina is very well written, and Intern-kun is pretty good too. Smut often requires suspension of disbelief, sometimes a lot of it, but here the sex tied into the most interesting part of the story. It holds well on its own, and I think it could also be the start of a longer story.

On a more neutral note, the way it's tagged, the way you talk about it and the way people reacted to it almost makes me believe that we read two different stories. You compared it to ecchi manga, and in my experience sometimes you get surprisingly engaged in the story, even to the point of not being very receptive to the smut. I think that's what happened here for me. I don't know why you write in the first place so I don't know if that's a positive or negative for you, but for me that's a huge positive.
I'm also not sure how I feel about the ending. I think it makes sense, because people meeting shortly and intensely and then never crossing path again is something that happens, but I've never experienced it so it feels "strange".

All in all, a great read. I'm now curious about what else you've written.
