So, in the interest of creating a consistent biosphere, I have a proposal for /indie/, /#/, and /unou/

What do you think of accepting the Sunset Doves / Golden Pigeons in your nation's biospheres?
I havent made a rentry for them yet but they were a bird breaddog/nasarep gave me before I took that couple of months long break, and I plan on continuing to work with them

tl;dr on the birds is
>sleep during the day
>yellow-ish orange coloration, thus the name
>eat seeds and nuts for the most part
>domesticatable
>migrates twice a day, flying towards the sun during sunrise/sunset
>nests on the western sides of rocky shores and cliffs
>during sunset, flies westwards towards the sun. Spends the night on the eastern shores of islands and landmasses, eating and doing bird things
>at morning, flies towards the sunrise back to their nests to sleep for the day
This leading to them having a homing quality, can be used as messenger birds
"Sunset Dove" is the name for the wild variant, "Golden Pigeon" is the name for the domesticated variant
The bird has no supernatural abilities, and has not been affected by chuubanite or magic at all.
They nest high up on cliffs and in buildings beyond the grasps of land predators.
They fly low during sunset/sunrise, so that the angle of the sun interferes with predatory birds ability to spot them.
I have them in /nasfaqg/ although I havent yet made a rentry for them.

Furthermore, would /indie/ be interested in getting a climate/geology analysis for themselves?

Now that the subcontinent has gotten more filled up, I have been thinking of ways to add more depths to /meat/'s lore.
Since /meat/ is an alliance of multiple thread countries, each represents a single aspect of the thread, on of them is alternative indie discussions. Where we talk about indies that are just too horror/weird/avantgarde for the normal /indie/.
So now that we have /indie/ and /unou/ aboard, I have an idea to link these themes together. To solidify /meat/'s indie heritage
In my first proposal for the /meat/ lore rework, the nation that represents alt-indies is located westward.
New idea; to represent a shared /indie/ heritage and cultural meltingpot, the alternative indie nation will be moved to the island on the east. The mysterious island of secret experiments and our bioweapon abomination.
The idea is that the island is themed around fear and horror, worship of indie chuubas that are just too scary and weird for the normal audience.
Chuubas like Zonbko, Kisari, Yami, Awayuki Milk, Fishybone.
Being located in the same sea as /indie/ and /unou/ (eldritch abomination indie joke), this will look more natural and organic, shows cultural exchanges and influences especially with the mainland /meat/ being /sbg/ that worships the more well known ryona indies.

hey guys, wanted to check if people have any issues with an idea of mine for the wrsselinng event that is cominng up and we take part in.

first some context. when the signups began /become/ was accepted as a fighter for it and thus some of us encouraged /meat/bro to sign up for /meat/. this then started an argument about if they should be allowed inn or not annd it seemed like now suddenly the rules were changed to exclude them. some of them over there even used us as a thread as argument of why they should not be allowed. at that point some of us went ahead and argued on their behalf.

ultimately the decision came to be that /meat/ and other banned threads would not be allowed. then earlier today(or late yesterday depending on timezone) the following statement was made:

Nobody really turned on Sanalites and they still make threads, pseudo threads that are kinda empty and melancholic but threads none the less. It makes sense for meat to go out in a gigantic blood bath and for the sanalites to slowly die off one by one on a foreign planet where they lack the means to both reproduce and toil.

I imagine dissociation to be one of the main ways space /vnug/ people pilot their mecha. In fact it might actually be the most popular methods since it’s intuitive and doesn’t require a lot of technical expertise – you just plug in and act like the mecha’s your own body. That might well be one of the main reasons space /vnug/’s an exporter of mecha pilot since anyone with basic military training can become an alright pilot just by plugging in and let the AI handle the grunt work! There are other ways to pilot though and some pilots might actually prefer them for a number of reasons. I kinda wanna write about some of them but I feel I’ve been neglecting the main setting
One thing that I want to keep ambiguous’ how in control and malicious the AI actually is, so they’ll act gentle and courteous by default (with some individual variations) as that appeals to the most potential pilots. I think as the pilot bonds with the AI more, the AI will also adjust their personality and presentation to fit their preference, so the AI would only be abusive and crass if the pilot wants them to be
That said the AI does handle the bulk of information processing for the mecha since the reason of their widespread adaptation’s that they can process the information and compress them enough to not fry the pilot’s brain when they plug in. That also means the AI can basically control what goes in and out of the cockpit especially if the pilot’s mind’s plugged in. A perception filter like the one shown in the story’s commonly used by greener pilots both to simplify the battlefield (so that their senses won’t get overwhelmed) and to ease their mind (so they’re not as likely to crack from the stress of being in a killing field) it can also be useful to absolve their guilt of killing people that their conscience might otherwise object

As for the weapon I’m not good with physics stuff so I’m probably just gonna copy what the site says and go with particle weapon as the standard ranged weapon for space /vnug/ since beam weapons are cool even if the effect’s kinda horrific even by weapon standards. Units who can afford it might use nuclear macrons as ammunition too which is like the heavy element’s counterpart since the payload can potentially cause nuclear fission/fusion on the surface of the target, but I assume those would be harder to make and thus not affordable to any pilot (not to mention the risk of friendly fire by green pilots)
Warships have more space and power so they can have both long accelerators and cyclotrons. The ammunition’s probably identical to the mecha ones but they can put a lot more energy into the particles for more damage against hardened/shielded targets but that can lead to overpenetration with protons (and maybe electrons?) so I guess mecha will occupy the niche of defeating targets that need to be somewhat intact afterwards. Some ships might have more mundane weapons like coil guns due to the similar principles with a much larger payload. I thought about putting boarding parties in the ammunition but I feel even with ichorite the acceleration’s going to turn them into pink salsa
