Ch 7 is coincidentally when the story really picks up. I actually really enjoyed Ciconia. It has some interesting things to say about globalism and how it doesn't quite work. And of course it's all layered on top of Illuminati tier conspiracies. Make sure to be familiar with the Book of Revelations. If I had to rank my favorite R07 games, it would be

1. Umineko
2. Rose Guns Days
3. Ciconia (to be changed with future releases)
4. Higurashi

RGD is about 1/3rd the length of Umineko, so it's a bit more concise. It's not mystery focused. It's more of a crime drama/thriller. It takes place in an alternate universe where in WWII a giant earthquake forces Japan to surrender and both China and America swoop in and occupy. It details the massive culture shifts that follow and what it means to be an occupied country. The fight scenes are replaced with a minigame where you gotta click on various objects and rack up a combo. It's simple but cute. I don't wanna fill this thread up with too much R07 talk. I just happen to enjoy his works. Good luck.

The Red Book is pretty much the last thing you should read and only if you're really really into him. it's his own personal writing and it's still debated if it's meant to be published or not.

The entry-point is Man and His Symbols. It's a collection of essays, the first by himself and the rest by pupils he thought would best represent him. It's meant to be a layman's introduction but that doesn't mean it's super easy either. After that you know the basics of his main ideas and can look into secondary literature.
Note also the concepts that you care and speak to you and look specifically into those. It's important to have fun when researching.

I'm sorry I can't rec you proper secondary literature because all I read on him is in german. I can warn you about two things though:
1) Beware falling into Joseph Campbell's interpretation exclusively. It's only one of many but he's held up as THE Jung-scholar and his fame for having inspired George Lucas often overshadows the actual work.
2) You'll come across Jung's writing that has him supportive of the Third Reich. He was pre-WW2, pre-Anschluss, because he had hoped it would revive a mythological german-spirit. When WW2 started he expressed great regret in his words and helped the Red Cross in Switzerland accepting refugees. Despite this change of heart many people still hold a grudge regards to that.

I'm in 13 vtuber discords, but I'm not a huge fan of any of them. I guess Veleck's discord would be my favorite since I know most of the people there, but it can be hard to get a word in. I guess the general pattern I've seen is that smaller ones are more comfy. The thing with any discord is that you need to chat a lot over a course of weeks to become part of the community, and I don't care enough about belonging to a streamer's community to put in that level of effort.
