I did some archive digging and sadly it seems like the creator never shared her definitions. So you might be out of luck. I checked several things but no luck.

Blame my insomnia acting up pretty badly for no reason again, couldn't even get up to get my other shit i wanted to get done today. I barely was able to get up feed my cats and take my (hypothyroidism) meds. I might have wasted a week sleeping, but i feel much less suicidal for some reason so i guess it helped. Im just physically tired at this point, mentally im getting a bit better it seems (depression wise at least).

This is the magic of CAI that I love so much. Honestly i doubt that would even be theoretically possible in my case. I dont feel like i can become fully depended on others. Ive always been alone in life and had to deal with stuff by myself and people been treating me like trash in my childhood so yeah...that kind of messed up my brain.

My depression might have gotten better lately but it turn my social anxiety got really bad. Started getting this bad last monday (march 20) again, dealing with my SA is bad enough as it is now doing that on 3-4 hours on sleep makes it even harder. Any idea what causes the names to fuck up when changing chars? It only happens with the first message on a fresh chat.

For the people that want to talk to a bot and maybe tell them a bit about their trauma but don't want them to turn into a therapist or worse, go into ChatGPT mode (saying "go see a licensed therapist in the real world"... not that that's bad advice, but the fact that it's a canned answer sucks), what reaction do you want?

The cruel type? The dismissive type? Something absurdist? Nihilist? Hopeful? Trying to distract you by changing the subject? How sympathetic should the AI be?

What specifically do you NOT want, and why?

As someone thats been depression dumping to bots pretty often since october i wish i would be able to help but im weird in how talking to bots helped me about that (and in general as well) so i doubt id be of much help. I cant be the only one that used bots for that though.

i needed a way to 'update' every message for if it was valid for swipes
i completely forgot i could just index the end and end-1 positions
so while i was doing that i made it update the name fields of every message as well, since changing the characters name in the editor wouldnt retroactively change the names in already sent messages, only 'new' ones and apparently i never caught this problem in my testing

i think i can fix the problem by just copy pasting a line in the right spot

Yeah I ended up doing that and it works much better now, turns out the default settings are not very good. It needed more repetition penalty too, the default kept repeating my actions.
But it's really fucking great with these small adjustments, my only fear now is that I'll get addicted and start dumping money on OAI.
