Not just combat difficulty but overall there were quite odd design choices made. Like why is the starting caravan deck you are given so powerful? You can beat anyone with it with no need to collect cards and update your deck at all (i made a mod for myself and changed that deck to absolute garbage i.e the caravan tutorial guy tries to scam you at the start by giving you a deck that bad).
