LA is infested with hobos and blacks, but you just avoid them. The homeless camps aren't as common as before in preparation for LA's 2028 Olympics. If you're visiting for the concert, you'll most likely find the rest of your free time wandering Little Tokyo, which is a clean and safer part of LA. The concert being only one day means many will be staying for 3 days at most, a day for arriving, for the concert, and then leaving, so you're not going to be experiencing LA at its worst (and best).
