EMA weights - training, like you said
fp32 vs fp16 - precision. are they 16 bit floats, or are they 32 bit floats? By default, webui starts up with "autocast" precision, which means that for cards that actually don't need "--no-half" in order to run it at all not --no-half-vae, an fp32 model gets cast "down" to half precision anyways. On Colab, all of the GPUs support "half", so the fp16 model saves you 2 GB. For anything newer than I think a GeForce 1xxx series, they get a speed BOOST running in fp16 mode. e.g. GTX 1080 can run fp16, but it takes a speed HIT for doing so, so users of those old GPUs would either want to use "--no-half" and potentially a faster alternative to the default autocast behavior.

Whenever I have mentioned "fixing" CLIP encoders in the past I have always pointed out that the broken CLIP encoder may actually be desired, and that the changes from "fixing" it may not always or ever produce better output. The broken CLIP encoder is part of what makes 7th_v2_C 7th_v2_C. Same for AnythingV3, and any other model that was common before webui silently started rounding down/up fucked CLIP positions during merges, before people started using model toolkit, etc.

It's basically a Google spreadsheet with some buttons that you click and it automatically runs a bunch of code for you, then gives you a link where you can proompt from your browser. It doesn't install anything locally on your computer, instead it's more like prompting remotely by connecting to a server.

About that. I assume when you talk about Clip encoder that also relates to clipskip? How come the image changes so drastically during clip skip from 1 to 2? I havent went beyond 2, but heard that you never should.

CLIP skip - "at what layer of the CLIP encoder's output do we stop?" CLIP = takes your input prompt, turns it into tokens that the model can actually use. CLIP skip 1 = stops at the last layer. CLIP skip 2 = stops one layer before that. Can someone help me with fixing hands?
This image for example. I'm trying to inpaint her left hand but even with a fine tuned prompt for inpaint if I set the denoising up to about 0.6 it just gives a somewhat different shape to the deformed hand.
If I set it higher it doesn't even try to draw a hand anymore.
There are seams because this isn't a finished picture, I'd do one or two final passes at low denoise to match everything together.

try setting your masked padding area to max, make sure your resolution is square, stick around 0.4-0.6 and try different seeds. Inpainting hands has always been gacha, so you just need to keep trying until you get something you like. Anytime you see even marginal improvement, swap that image in for the old one and repeat the process. It's annoying, but this has salvaged a few gens for me that I thought were worthy trying to push through the finger gore.

Far as I know the way inpainting works goes best with roughly square/circular areas. At least that's where I've had the best success. So you don't need to set the width/height settings to your image. If anything I usually go bigger than the whole image if I'm trying to inpaint a face for more detail, for instance.
