I like some of the EN girls but the criticisms of lack of streams/stream time are pretty valid.
Being more consistent helps, and something I noticed recently is that many of the EN tubers from both Niji and Holo rarely seem to do multiple streams of the same game/content if it's not a common multiplayer game like Minecraft, or sometimes Apex.
The ones who stream single player content and have multiple streams seem to garner more and longer lasting viewership in general even after moving on. Some examples I can think of would be Pomu with her Metal Gear series streams, and more recently for Holo Kanata with her DS1 streams.
It seems like the only time I see more of them stream the same game multiple times is for stuff like new Pokemon games, and from what I've heard that's because it's limited perms so they probably feel the pressure to ride the popularity wave and also to get the streams in before the perms disappear.

The boys went from exploding in popularity in the beginning of 2022 to peak in mid 2022 and the current absolute state of bleeding sisters where they aren't getting even half of what they used to half a year ago, which is somehow much worse than most of Myth losses since 2020. That also affects big streams for girls like this Pomu outfit reveal since nobody is padding the mediocre NijiEN female viewership.
Small corpos are significantly bigger than they used to be. Shiki and Luto were considered really big and the hope of their corpo when they were getting 200-300 viewers in 2021 and now it's not that many for Pippa Connect and Jewbas and even Kawaii is catching up somewhat. Eien are literally whos but even they are bigger on average than well known start ups were two years ago.
