Truth be told Pikamee was already long on the outs before she announced she's quitting, in terms of people being annoyed with her seeming to have a complex about actually-using her original model, moving over to Twitch etc she was already pretty forgotten. Twitterfags turning on her after her spending like a year trying to ingratiate herself to their fleshtuber normalfag scene was simply the last straw.

I wouldn't have been -too- surprised at her graduating even all the Harry Potter shit never happened at all just because she had been on a slow steady decline and seeming to lower herself more and more trying to leech relevance from people who were very far from understanding who she was, the famous 2019/20 Pikamee being one of the only Japanese vtubers who also spoke good English in existence. That's still rare actually, but she is far less unique ever since Myth came about.
