I (female) have auditioned for multiple companies (Tsunderia, Idol, Phase, Niji) and literally ALL of them ask you to be in character for your audition, if they are interested enough then the interview is when you show your actual personality because they ASK YOU to be yourself IN THE INTERVIEW, NOT THE AUDITION. They are looking for an entertainer, a professional that can keep you interested for hours as she said, a normal person can't typically do that just with their normal personality, that's what the audition video is for.
Either way, Rin is the last person to give tips to other vtubers. She openly flirts with males in places her fans can see. She's the furthest thing from a professional. Rin being so cocky in this short leaves a bad taste in my mouth.
