I received an email back from RIOT MUSIC. They offered me to ship me Yuka's birthday goods with sand, without sand, or to refund my order. They told me to check if it was legal in my country. As far as I could tell, it is legal to ship small quantities of sand from Japan to USA, as long as they are declared and free of biological matter. Mikado has a more simplistic and honest nature which is similar to the role she is playing.

It's an interesting topic, because if you want to keep up a mask for a long time this usually fails, and the best workaround is to become your role or to fit your role for your personality so that you don't stray away from it over time.
It seems their group had a long term planning in mind when they created this project, or have someone who knows about this.
The other possibility is that the atmosphere of the group is very open and friendly, enabling enough freedom and comfort to reach this result through chaos.
