Part of the appeal of vtubers for me is the lore/design and I like it when they keep the magic happen instead of just being plain old streamers with an anime avatar, so honestly I’m still looking for someone else to enjoy
Which is funny considering I’ve been watching holos even before the ID branch was a thing, and I liked Sana so much I just can’t really enjoy watching the others anymore.
I’d check their streams if they’re playing a game I’m interested in, or if they’re doing a cool gimmick stream but otherwise I just don’t bother watching

I understand making the limiter and bread dog separate but did they really save that much money by separating the limiter "base" and the limiter swirl? I'd still recommend seeing a professional/hobbyist over that unless you want it without the limiter, in which case i'd probably just take the pink strip off. Honestly one reason I hesitated to get one was because of the limiter, kind of glad I did now

i think if it was one part it wouldn't fold horizontally well. looks like it can be hot glued back into place. the first time i face planted into it, the limiter hurt. definitely a lot stiffer material than i was expecting from a plush.

I think what I was picturing or wanting if there was a limiter was a more 3D shape with stiff material, but yeah it makes sense for shipping to do what they did. One other alternative I just thought of was maybe a pipe cleaner like picrel? cheap, 3D, easily replaceable, and shouldn't be too hard to mold into the desired shape

Did Yostar buy out Sana? Starting around the time of her lack of involvement, she got a character in arknights. Shortly after her departure, she got another character in Arknights. Ever since then, these two characters have been used majorly by Yostar. From promotions to events, for some reason her two characters are constantly used. Even though arknights has around 100 operators and dozens of NPCs.

How can Sana be so wholesome and be so seggs at the same time? I wish Cover had balls and made her a loli instead to fit the whole cute and wholesome aesthetic better

You're a little off on the dates there, her first character was already released when she debuted. I think her back injury only allowed her enough time to work one full job: art or Hololive. And we know what she chose. I don't hold it against her, though I still miss her.

On the low though she probably left at the best possible time. The EN vtubing landscape has changed from comfy to something more mean-spirited than ever on the side of the viewership and I don't think a kind soul like her should be in the crossfire.
Vtubers that are a bit more isolated from the greater community but still have a strong fanbase and strong content ideas like Sana are probably the antidote. However that level of "indie/small corpo" is getting thinner by the day (I'm particularly thinking of Makoto and Akira).

I don't know if she ever comes here or if she even thinks about her tenure in HL anymore, but I still wish her all the best.

I now watch Fauna and Kaela. I would recommend you Fauna the most. Partly because She's same gen. Fauna's game streams are really entertaining, i recommend her hitman and skyrim series, and some of the cute tangents she goes on while playing are really fun She also does ASMR if that's your thing, i don't watch these too much because ASMR is not really my cup of tea.
Kaela is all about that grind, she streams a lot more than most Holomems and likes completing game's challenges. Her chill minecraft streams are also nice to have on the side while doing other things on your computer. She can be cute without trying but also has a comedic sense and a "silent laugh" that is very much loved by her fans.
