Not necessary but would be a welcome addition regardless. HoloX has gotten enough of the limelight and have fully established themselves (sans Laplus) so a new gen popping up won't have too much of an effect on them. But a new gen would still be welcomed since HoloJp has reached a point where its like a well oiled machine. As long as they keep adding Gens every 14 months, I think oversaturation/ overcrowding is no longer an issue.

So i noticed that when I'm on my alt account on which i dont watch vtubers and I will play a hololive stream the first recommendation on the sidebar will be a nijisanji stream and only further down a holo stream.
but when clicking on that niji stream all recommendations become niji and indies. NO hololive.

A lot of old stars yumes were women from /jp/ who did their reps + a mix of casuals who mostly watched clips but still tuned into big streams.
Like how adding Myth transferred the EOP audience of a lot of JP Holos (Korone, Miko etc.) into HoloEN, I suspect that the addition of Tempus did that to StarsJP on a smaller scale.
This would only be increased by the addition of Tempus 2, and that would explain the push for memberships for StarsJP. While the EOP women were still watching them, they still had sustainable income to keep the branch running with their own profits.
But if that's no longer the case, the Stars can't really keep running on Yagoo's goodwill alone. They need to remain profitable to keep (internal) investor confidence.
Hence the push towards memberships - which have been experimentally shown to be a more reliable income source for the girls.

If Myth (or Council) were creating new and innovative content that would bring new audiences to watch them by themselves, I would have no problems with it.
JPs have been doing this for a while (group collabs, 3D Lives, Suisei in First Take, Marine's video + her showa live and various game collabs).
It's been two years and although there have been the occasional kino stream here and there, EN as a whole has been severely lagging when it comes to innovative content creation.
And well... there haven't been any "changes" in the existing members, in terms of "development" that could add to a story or narrative.
In JP for example, Okayu becoming lewder has been a thing, and it's been an ongoing story of hers for a while. Mio has been a lot more consistent over the years and has gotten better at streaming, reflecting in the increase in her audience.
ENs are all known quantities for the most part, and the most recent "development" was in Kronii, and it was a net negative to her brand image. Like revealing a really REALLY negative vice about a fan favorite character. There'd still be people who like them, but anything they watch from that point onwards will have a background of dread.

This + the fact that it's only 10 people, is why EN3 is DESPERATELY needed.
