I've always imagined getting into Hololive was just getting the quality assurance sticker from the company and getting a maid. You can take your channel in whatever direction you want. All these merch, originals, costumes, and collabs are all from the initiative of the talent themselves, and their own models too. Coco and Matsuri used to have Gura and Anya's shirts rigger so they paid out of their own pockets for a better one.

I think a better comparison would be against Reine's ou Cali's. Reine and Marine in particular have a really good range of expressions and their mouths are well animated. Call me blind or whatever, but the difference in the first and second half of the stream is like day an night for me. In her original clothes the rigging just feels way better. The new costume was made for the older version that she likes to use. It's even more obvious when you can clearly see that in the first half she actually faces down and can bend sideway further, and as soon as she changes the costume suddenly she's unable to do both to the same extent.
