She's only been playing AAA games for a couple years so the way she plays will seem off to us as even the zoomers /here/ have probably played games for around 5 times as long as she has. She also doesn't really care about playing optimally (although what she means by this can be a little nebulous because she does use guides for some things) and has poor reactions/dexterity, that plus streamer brain debuff is why she plays the way she does. You even see this in games that don't require any dexterity like Pokemon where she often autopilots into bad moves instead of taking 2 seconds to read the text on her screen, and even when she does pick the "right" move it's often the wrong action anyway because she can be very hit or miss at predicting the damage she will do and take, which usually results in losing a pokemon for no reason or killing something she hasn't caught yet (but she also doesn't care about completing the dex and just wants to catch the ones she likes).
