anti AGI people always tend to assume the human brain is doing something really magical and impossible and underestimate how we have basically solved 3 of the most advanced and difficult tasks our brains do: motor function, viso-spatial processing from optics alone, and now linguistic intelligence aka the human communication protocol.

Whats still missing is putting it all together and incorporating a system of emotions and desires. Chatbots feel lifeless because they don't actually want or feel anything thing. They are the language part of our brain without the rest of it feeling and needing to communicate.

Once AIs have a primitive digital dopamine, and basic emotions controlled by stimulus system you are going to see some crazy shit. Image neuro self adjusting her language model based on trying to please the chat, and legitimately getting sad and changing behavior when people are mad or bored by her. Sorry, I wasn't trying to win an argument, just making some observations, and expressing a personal preference.
You're absolutely right that Miyune has her own issues, and I don't think either of these collab partners are bad people for having issues.
Maybe I feel sorry for Miyune too, like I do for Giri, but I also feel that Miyune's issues lead to content that's more wholesome and comfy.
There's just something very honest about the way she wears her heart on her sleeve, unlike Giri's tiresome act of "I hate you, chat... Why don't you like me, chat?".
I know that both these styles of personality have their fans, so I'm glad different viewers get what they want through the different collabs, and hopefully Giri and Miyune get a lot out of the collabs too.
Giri's anxiety showed in the way that she couldn't just make short sentences and wait for a response, she kept going back to second-guess and correct herself.
That's totally relatable, and maybe even a feature, for someone who is a streamer that has to fill dead air all the time.
But I think it also shows how exceptionally patient Miyune was, and how clear her thought processes are, and how good she was at dealing with the technical limitations that Neuro had at the time.
Anyway, I totally get that lots of people enjoyed the collab with Giri, and I really respect her (and her husband, and Vedal) for the hard work she put into making such a technically complex stream work.
Like Miyune, she seemed to completely buy into (or play along with) the idea that Neuro was a real person, and an equal partner in their collab, which really helps the audience to suspend disbelief and forget that Neuro is just software.
I'd be happy to see Neuro collab with Giri again, even though the tsundere dynamic isn't what I'm looking for, so you don't need to defend her, don't worry.

I feel some people here want to "protect" Neuro from negative influence or more precisely stop her from changing in a way they might not like. That's perfectly understandable but ultimately misguided.

I think it's obvious by now that a substantial appeal for Neuros current iteration will come from these collabs as these people can fill in what technology is lacking. Becoming too tribal and attacking possible collab partners would be counter-productive.
