Hololive probs has learned from Niji and Vshojo Yabs enough that they have measures in place to ensure their talents don’t go off the rails.

In terms of potential it was the party at Mori's. I think the lean one is the worst for the average viewer, because even the redditors were telling her to shut up. I think the biggest one /here/ must have been the amegeddon. Dishonorable mentions for the TT stuff, improve yourself, and Kronii.

The issue is that Hololive has created such a pure image of themselves that even the most minor yabs get blown out of proportion. Meanwhile, NijiEN and Vshojo are completely hardened against controversy.

Discord leak that reveals them shitting on their direct competitor? Who cares.
Literally cucking their fans? Whatever.
Public SJW meltdowns? Just another day.
Shittalking their co-workers? Oh well.
There is literally nothing that can harm their reputation anymore because people are so used to defending it, and with every damage control, the need to defend their fuck-ups becomes even greater due to the sunk cost fallacy, as they would never want to admit they've defended an irredeemable place for so long. So too can the yabs become more and more irredeemable without any real consequences.

In the end, just ignoring your vtubers being unhinged freaks seems to be the more successful business model compared to being neurotic about their reputation and trying to remain "yab free".
The only ones who really suffer from it are the fans themselves, but hey, who the fuck cares about them am I right?
