NijiEN fanbase is around 30% OG Lazulight/Obsydia fans (spread amongst those two original waves and the better latter-day girl hires) and 70% assorted Twitter garbage, chinks, fujos, troons, etc (spread across the homo livers and the Ethyria clique). That ratio goes lower and lower with every drama/scandal that makes it harder and harder to keep supporting your oshi knowing your money is going to this trash fire of a company.

On top of this, the big troon/fujo faction that follows the males (and chink panderers like Enna) HATES with bitter irrational hatred any talent that appeals to the original fans in any way, and wants those girls gone, preferably in a humiliating fashion. They're the root cause of the original /nenfem/ split and the reason why certain livers like Selen are impossible to talk about on the main split without triggering a wave of doxx and gore.

At this point I think NijiEN as a company is just a lost cause. The bad just completely outweighs the good. If you have an oshi in this branch, stick only to her and hope she has an eventual exit plan.

Most of us accepted it and were aware of it, as it would be foolish otherwise. However, what we ended up getting wasn't exactly...ideal, in general.
Despite that, it was Ethyria what completely changed the environment, rather than the males. The males by themselves were (again, in general) sort of what I expected, the actual problem was the fanbase they brought with them.
Those + Ethyria, and thus the ecosystem and feedback between livers and fanbase which was created, are the actual issue.
