The leftovers in the OP is down the lines of what I was thinking of when I made the first post. Make some art based off theme suggestions. I'm kind of wondering about what direction I should take my content in. I've got ASMR scripts in the works, and I'll release them regardless, but I'm not sure that's actually what marshfellows want

If you're planning it around things that you say, then it isn't really ASMR, it's RP with an ASMR premise. Which don't get me wrong a lot of people like, but people who are looking forward to ASMR content a lot of the time are going to expect literally nothing but multiple hours straight of sound effects and onomatopoeia.
The thing tho is it's a medium, you can RP over it, you can take it as seriously or as ironically as you want (the key point), you can shitpost with it.

First of all i think FlaVR is a space of variety and every type of content is welcome, i'm not part of the eeeh crew? but i feel like that's the biggest strenght of the "company". Second i really don't know about ASMR listeners or anything but rest assured eveeryone who likes your content alreay, WILL love your ASMR. I mean many of us are just getting into the world of ASMR thanks to you. You should be a bit more confident of yourslef because your content IS good, people really DO like you. You have a lovely voice and your content is entertaing, you don't need to stick to one shtick and repeat it for the rest of your career, just keep being youirslef. Maybe i'm just too far gone desu, but i really do think that you'll be able to succed if you keep going the way you are. Also i don't know if any of this makes any sense, i ain't gonna proofread it anyway.

While it's true that ASMR vtubers don't get as many viewers if they do other type of content, that is something that happens to pretty much everyone, unless you manage to be a variety streamer, your audience will always have a specific type of content they will prefer over anything else, so I wouldn't worry too much about it.
I think what matters the most is if you want to make that type of content.

The nice thing about ASMR is there's a lot of variety in it!
Roleplay ASMR is a fairly common genre for vtubers to go into because it's less reliant on visual stimuli.
I'm more interesting in roleplay ASMR personally because it takes more creativity and planning, while normal sound focused ASMR is more simple of a process to make.

I've seen what you say about the ASMR audience, it's good as side content but you kind of get pigeonholed if you do it too regularly, and that group will turn on you in a heartbeat for the smallest thing. Nothing wrong with taking things seriously though, whichever direction you go, there's really no type of content that defines flavr since everyone's so different. As far as the ideal frequency i'm not sure, maybe once every 2 weeks or so, you were interested enough to get a 3DIO so i'd hate to see you drop it completely even if i'm not a big fan of ASMR

ASMR listeners are disloyal because if they come for that content, you will get a deceptive boost in numbers. Try not to take it to heart when you go back to your regular content and you're back to the usual 10-20.
To rephrase, you won't alienate your current viewers but any growth you get from ASMR will almost exclusively be for your ASMR content. You'll be lucky if any of them stick around for anything else.
Some people say it's a good way to grow, but only if you exclusively care about numbers. If you're looking to grow a community, ASMR can be more harmful than anything because they will get pouty if you do anything different and if you get addicted to that boost in numbers, you might feel pressured to give in to them and that will eventually alienate the people who came to see you be dorky about video games and art.

Well this, and ASMR often means less chat interaction. Less *engaging* chat interaction at the very least - if someone is just stroking cloth and breathing for an hour, it doesn't give you much room to do anything beyond post comfy emojis. And they won't be left with much impression of you as a person either - zatsu or videogames offer unique content because it's affected by the streamer's personality, but with pure ASMR you're pretty much interchangeable with whoever is on right now.
