How do you think I'm going to get along
Without you when you're gone
You took me for everything that I had
And kicked me out on my own
Are you happy are you satisfied?
How long can you stand the heat
Out of the doorway the bullets rip
To the sound of the beat look out

Honestly I'm worried for the future of small corpo.
Seems like many of them invested expecting big returns but their market still remains quite small, growth is very slow and some sort of reached a stagnating point.
We're already past the vtuber boom, if tsunderia and wactor die how many small corpos will we have left? How long until we run out of them? There are no new corpos taking their place.
The only recent new small corpo I can think of is idol. Glad those are doing well.

There is literally 0 reason to join a small corpo nowadays. You don't get clout, you get a minimal boost in ccv and they take a large chunk of your earnings. Better to just brave it out as an indie.

Small corpos guarantee a roughly 100ccv, creative direction, a steady pay in many cases, management and technical support, a pre-built social network of talents and sometimes production support for music and other projects.
Some small corpo like Phase Connect and idol have the potential for 300ccv.
Basically if you are an indie who has her shit figured out, with technical and financial resources, a social circle and over 300ccv you might not really see any benefit in joining a small corpo.
But if you don't have some of those you could see a benefit.
I think perhaps hiring for small corpos might get more complicated.
Gone are the days when talented and successful indies would quit to join small corpo.
Small corpo will have to settle down for far less successful girls.
And to be fair there are a lot of very talented yet still unsuccessful girls out there but success acted as a sort of filtered that raised the bar for potential candidates.
The pool of options is now going to be much worse overall so filtering will be harder.

I don't think you understand the massive difference there is between having an audience of 50-200 viewers and being a literal 0-1 view like tens of thousands of other floptubers

I have been watching FLaVR a lot lately. Most of them stream between 16-30 CCV.
The chat is active and there is a lot of streamer-chat interaction. It feels like a real stream but the numbers are very low.
Streaming with no people is not even streaming tho, there'd be no chat, no streamer interaction, the streamer would just be streaming to a void.
I don't know when exactly a stream goes from silence to something that resembles a real stream.
I think some of them would trade their 20ccv for a 100ccv small corpo job if they could but I can't really speak for them.

FLaVR gets boosted from it being a meme org, most people who just debut as an indie on their own from square one get literally 0 views. I'm subbed to a few chuubas I just happened to stumble across by manually searching low view counts who have genuine talent for singing or art and their streams cap out at like 3-5 views on a really good day.

Current rrat is that it's on behalf of one of the talents, most likely either Purin (who left a few days before the shutdown and is particularly close with Urara) or Lisa (who mentioned the company overworking her in her farewell post and was apparently already planning on leaving regardless of the shutdown because of this)
