It's really not that hard to understand. Stress from dealing with her illness, other life stuff and probably just some regular old burnout led her to take a break. After focusing on her health and having to time to really think about things she decided she really wanted to go to Japan and got the OK from her doctor. Now that she's had some time to recover and got her wish of going to Japan she's ready to try streaming again.
