I have a normalfag roommate who listens to a bunch of music. I openly watch chuubas and discuss it with him occasionally. He has an open mind and doesn't have any preconceived notions of anime or vtubers in general. He's also completely disconnected from any social media so he doesn't see any of the garbage out there.
That being said, he gave Deadbeats EP a shot and his main criticism was that he didn't like Mori's voice. He also listened to Your Mori and UnAlive a couple of times and was impressed with her singing improvements. His favorite songs are Dead on Arrival, Graveyard Shift and Ouroboros. I also showed him the Shinigami Note and Sinderella previews and he was generally neutral with how poppy everything sounded.
Overall, he doesn't mind her songs. He won't go out of his way to listen to them but also won't skip them if they play on his Spotify.
