Easiest way to save the branch is to have them actually stream. No more of this, "I have so much stuff I have to do" bullshit especially when there is almost zero result from said work. Stream 4 times a week for at least 2-3 hours per stream MINIMUM. That's literally 8-12 hours of content for fans. That's less than part time hours. Just instill basic professionalism in them. No more "I just woke up 30 minutes before the stream and didn't set up" excuse. Report in the hour before a stream starts and have shit prepared beforehand so it's easy to go.

I don't get how Nijisanji EN has more professionalism when it comes to streams and more dedication. Pomu still had her other job for the longest time and managed to stream a ton.

Look at Council, the difference between generations is enormous, they are all friends and always talk behind the scenes, surely if you look at it that way it will not seem strange to you why Gura prefers to collaborate with them than with Myth, we are practically talking about a dead generation Vs one fully alive. I always wonder what games they want to play they don't have perms for. Konami is a bitch and has cast its vote before EN even debuted. Only Kiara is remotely interested in Square Enix games as far as I know. It's really hard to get written perms from random indies and shovelware games if someone's interested in that, and after the Holocaust and the two strikes against Mio, Cover won't threaten anyone's livelyhood with risking channel termination due to copyright strikes.
Furthermore, there's many options they could do within existing perms, yet I don't see the majority of them trying out new content, even if it's just a modified zatsu/talkshow stream. I'm inclined to believe that crying for permissions is just a massive cope.

I mean, what even is there to post about HoloEN anymore? Half of them don't even really stream, and the rest have gotten pretty stale and routine, as it's been two years already and you've seen pretty much everything they'll ever be, not much developments or surprises happening anymore (and the developments that did happen, for example the arrival of tempus and its consequences, have been more of a net-negative on general viewer morale and engagement), and there's not much in the way of hype and exciting events to look forward to build and keep momentum. The JP branch has the Hololive Official Channel that gets regularly used for group collabs, often with staff (A-chan) serving as presenter and organizer.

Why doesn't HoloEN staff do something similar? They also have an official channel, but they use it for fuck all. Why does it always fall on the talents to organise events themselves, and if no one steps up, nothing gets done? There should be some kind of english A-chan, and no not the abortion that was Omegatranny but an actual female staff who actually appears on streams, who organizes some events, variety contents and group collabs on the official channel or wherever, so the girls get some structure, support and don't have to do everything themselves.

I used to think that and honestly I still do. Never watched any EN apart from some Ina drawing streams but over the years I realize only Mori were a bitch. Kiara was fucking obnoxious at one point but redeem herself becoming more laid back and conscious of herself. Ame always suffered from having brain damaged fans but was never that offensive. Gura suffered from her success as well, never deserved 4 million subs and got them because of being senz, she never taken vtubing that seriously and was born with a cute voice which got her to this point. Ina is still the least controversial member of all EN, her drama were only because she's a socially inept person as most extremely good artists are because you have to sacrifice all social interactions throughout your life to get to such a level.
