Be funny, charismatic and really talented on what they do(at least has 2 of those). Good model is cherry on top but it has little impact on my opinion on them cuz I don't like male Chuubas the same way I like female one.

The only male youtubers I occasionally watch are talented speedrunners and interesting essay writers/documentarians. So I guess someone that's good at those.
Oh actually I think there is a male vtuber that does interesting videos on gen 1 metagame shifts and mechanics. Never really thought of him as a vtuber though.

I used to occasionally watch stars jp and when tempus debuted I found Vesper's zatsudans pretty entertaining.
Then the collab spam started and holo en management made it clear they were encouraging it, which made it clear to me that any support for the homos would make hololive worse

I don’t think there’s anything that could convince me to watch a male vtuber. I don’t like most male anime characters and I don’t watch streamers outside of vtubing. The only YouTube “personalities” I follow are retirees with power tools I wish I could own and hobbyists who post tutorials. I would rather do anything else than watch another man play video games while he dresses up like an anime character that he thinks women will find attractive.

Change my life and do things from very different angle.
I could be a let's player and play variety of game, I could succeed at marketing myself, but I'd definitely struggle with zatsudans and with my hardheaded trigger friendly attitude, since I have hard time being nice to people, am very biased towards both games that I pick to play and people I communicate with, and often am ass to others because I love fucking with people. If I would be a corpo vtuber, I'm very aware that I might start conflicts and pick on weaker people, and would get suspended often, or even would end up seen as misfit. Personality-wise I'm kind of like Gordon Ramsay in real life, except I'm not as good at cooking, but quite good at bantering.
Second, what comes to mind is technical things. I don't have a really good PC and my internet sucks dick since I basically use satellite connection. I'd need to move to better area in the city to have good connection and have pile of money to back up lots of things because to be a streamer in first place, you need to have proper tech.

If you're going to do variety/gaming then aim for things a male audience would enjoy. Be a giant fucking nerd if that's what you are. It's better than trying to be coy for fujos and fairies. Find a skill you have or a hobby you enjoy and lean hard into it.
