It's a matter of personal preference of course, but I don't like crying girls during BDSM sessions - to me it's obnoxious-sounding, and makes them look ugly and too pitiable at the same time. Hence the bit about her (You) not liking when she cries or screams, and her screaming only towards the very end because she's a tough oni. Ultimately it's another obedience test for her that's part of the established power dynamic, a challenge for her to overcome for your sake. That's where the pride in her endurance comes from, and her being happy about not crying.
It's true that she could have lost her composure more towards the end, beyond the screaming and tensing up. That's something I could have brought up earlier in the story as well, the temptation and resisting it. That a huge part of being a dom is showing restraint and doing what's best for oneself and one's partner is an important part of BDSM for me; with great power comes great responsibility. In this case keeping Ayame edged but unsatisfied is the most effective torture method, getting her to beg for sex is very humiliating (hence mutually enjoyable), and this way the sex to conclude the day will be the best it can be.
I'm biased because the torture and domination is at least as important as the sex to me, but I enjoy mastering your own desires as well as your partner in this way. And I hate misrepresentative stories where being a dom means that you can just do whatever you want without consequences (à la 50 Shades of Rape). That's not how BDSM works.

Fair, there could have been light tears as a concession to realism (even though she's not human), and they can be beautiful when imagined right. But having the preferences and rules strewn throughout the story feels better to me - at the end you know what you need to know. It's a story focused on feelings and thoughts besides the physical actions, but it would have felt infodumpy to put everything more towards the beginning.
The next part might be a good place to give additional insight into the general power dynamic and talk about the plans for the evening; for now I don't think Ayame will get her ultimate reward too soon, that wouldn't be sadistic enough for both parties' sakes.
