It's because Millie used to be kind of famous in her PL but is pretty much just a boring literal-who in the nijiEN pantheon and the very friend she brought along with her has passed her so far along in relevance that the turn tables and now Millie is the sidekick.

IMO millie was always overhyped by SEA who shilled her mostly because she's one of their own and they're proud of her, proud of having known her name before she was a Niji. That doesn't mean she's actually good though. Personally I found her boring almost instantly from the getgo and that's never changed.

I found it funny that during millie's indie time, the whole presence of former Enna on her channel is literally only Millie's friend that sings very well and got along with her. She wasn't a streamer at the time so basically millie's fan literally only knows her as "millie's babu"
And somehow, it got completely turned around after both of them join NijiEN as Enna is now the more popular and known one.

I think Millie is just amused that things turned around completely from how she thought they'd go, but the fact she notices it and remarks about it means it's at the very minimum a significant thing to her. she never struck me as having a lot of self esteem, if she didn't care she wouldn't tweet about it, she's now further spreading the notion of "yep I'm the sidekick now, please don't even bother to remember my name anymore because I'm just that girl Enna talks to" etc. which does look a bit butthurt imo not matter how you slice it. this doesn't mean they hate each other or anything like that at all, just Millie being Millie.

Millie and Enna were IRL nepotism hires from Elira, Moona from Hololive ID invited Millie to join Hololive and she turned it down because she wanted to join Elira and also be with Enna.
