I still can't understand about shitting on parasocial relationships while it's one of the cores of the VTuber industry that enables it to reap profit. If some schizos are offside, I can understand. But, just call out them as someone who crosses the line. I feel bad for Holos whenever they run into issues, regardless of whether or not they inflicted it on themselves. I always hope for them to get better soon and grow stronger through the event.
That being said, I can't deny that some part of me somewhere inside wants to see them crash and burn because of these faggots who actively defend their actions by attacking people with genuine issues with the Holo in question.

I do think that the complaining from up until that point loyal fans must bother them though, even if the ones who actually speak up about it are a minority, there are many more who just show no enthusiasm whatsoever for that kind of content and as a streamer the combination of either complaints and bad atmosphere or just indifference/accepting it with gritted teeth must get tiring, at that point why even bother doing it, just for yourself?

I think unicorns/gachis did win but not because they are a supermajority of the audience who were ready to walk away over males and threaten their income, but rather a combination of loud schizos willing to shit on them publicly and general indifference amongst the rest of their fans just making the whole thing not worth bothering with.
