She was the only one that gave a shit about being an idol.
She was the only one who outright asked her chat what they thought about collabs with men because she didn't want them to feel uncomfortable.
She was the only one to put her foot down to organize group collabs and didn't like all the excuses that everyone kept coming up with.

Simple, drama-free, genuine answer? You develop a bond with your fans by doing this for a while and inclining slowly. That gives you time to get to know your viewers and for them to know you, and more opportunities to curate your audience (read: practice with tardwrangling chat).
HoloEN didn’t get that. They thought they were going to have modest success like HoloID and slowly grow from there. Instead, all the girls basically got 100k+ tourists all at the same time. Sure, many of those people slowly developed into genuine fans, but the Myth girls didn’t get the chance to do the reverse. To them, their fans have always been a gigantic faceless crowd. I’m not even really blaming them for lacking a real connection to their fans, it’s really hard to do unless you have other motivations to do so (like Kiara).
It does mean that HoloEN suffers from a long-term debuff that other groups don’t. Like, even in NijiEN, the fact that plenty of the girls are 3views probably even helps out the branch in the long run. Ever notice how the most unlikeable and obnoxious members there are Luxiem, aka the ones who experienced instant success like Myth?

just about to post this. they rarely get exposed to the relatively normal vtuber fans because if you are a relatively normal vtuber fan you arent constantly super chatting, going to cons, or otherwise making yourself known to them. Normal people treat them like entertainers and nothing more, while the fans that get spotted treat them like goddesses which is not a healthy attitude to have.

Bae's debut is a big gamble. She was willing to forego numbers for non-parasocial fans then goes with all kinds of parasocial streams. There is still an air of professionalism with what she did and only time would tell if it was worth it.

I was tako for two years. At this point, I just wish the myth would retire. It's just sad to see them getting worse and worse. Even the Council is trying harder (well, most of it), despite how much shit they got.

Ina will definitively graduate, she changes after Sana's graduation. Gura is lazy af, Calli is trying hard but her songs actually sucks, Kiara is annoying and noisy, Ame still the same. The truth is: The vtuber hype is over and they will eventually graduate to start new things, the "idol" job with obligations are not for them.
