en is a lot more tight knit than jp, people usually have a few oshis but still keep up with most of the other talents and tune in now and then. wave spam will decrease average numbers all over the board. i don't think another miracle like luxiem that pulls in huge amounts of new viewers will happen in the foreseeable future, what market is there right now that is untapped? iluna, xsoleil, even noctyx to an extent only spread them thinner. the market is already oversaturated and this will only accelerate the trend.
however, the graphs posted show most of nijien is on the upturn (except the current downwards trend all across the industry, probably temporary fall debuff), so maybe i have no idea what the fuck i'm talking about

They seem alright. Kotoka and Meloco might need to get a little creative because they're non-gamers but their debut zatsus were good. Zaion seems very promising and charming. Doppio seems genuinely retarded but his dedication to kayfabe is incredible. Ver might be alright if he has good game selection and keeps tardwrangling hard. Not that interested in Hex, have not watched him at all yet.
So far they've done a lot less lowest-hanging-fruit pandering compared to iluna and seem more engaged with and understanding of vtuber culture, I believe several were previously indie vtubers.
It's unlikely NijiEN's ever gonna have another Luxiem in terms of explosive growth & popularity but these six seem like they have the potential to each carve out a decent niche for themselves.

I enjoyed Melocco, so far, but I like helping JP ESLs with culture and language, so this could just be Beatani rebound. Hex seems okay, kinda chill, hopefully will not turn into a phone sex operator like Vox. Haven't check the others yet.

I have no idea how you could come to that conclusion. The dip started before the current winter blues that is hitting every EN. But even if we pretend that is the case, they were at best stagnant and not pulling in new audiences. Their numbers were being carried hard by Luxiem who have fallen off quite a bit.

I have to imagine all these clearly Japanese talents in EN are basically going to EN because they don't really have a choice in the matter if they want to get into Niji. So they're thrown to an audience of native speakers with their busted ass accents and hope for the best. I guess with girls it can become a charm point but I feel real bad for Yugo.
