Hololive was successful primarily because girls like Soda stuck around. HoloEN is failing because Gura became a gazillionaire without trying and doesn't care at all now. If they had debuted more waves, like how Gen 3 and Gen 3 from holoJP were debuted in the same year a few months apart and Holostars was also happening concurrently, the friendly competition would have kept Gura, Ina and Mori from getting 'too big' and thus too indolent since they are already rich enough that they don't care about streaming anymore.
