as someone who does both, the m&g is a memorable experience that a donation cant really give. i cringe when i think about how i met my oshi but i dont regret it. you get one on one time with them, they get to see you as a real person and not some name behind a screen so it feels more real for them, they also get to hear your tone when youre being genuine. its more for them then for us because a lot of the boys came back from it having a different perspective on their fans.
