Probably helps, also helps with being on friendly terms with management (which is just being part of a big company 101). But being known to talk freely, while understanding where the boundaries are gives a lot of freedom. If you're the type who keeps things secret then it is unexpected if you even approach certain topics. Vesper managed to achieve the worst of both worlds. He did regularly go full "management said I shouldn't say this" on stream, and seemingly argued with them too strongly. So now he'll be given little leeway. Though I imagine he would slowly try to regain some ground.
