That being said, I do think the Ara shitshow was instrumental in them folding both the KR and ID branch. At least in the Korean communities it was such a high-profile shitshow that the law was getting involved. Ironically it wasn't that big of an issue because Anycolor had a smaller foreign presence back then.

If there's any krbro that could help me understand what this guy is saying in these videos I would really appreciate it. There's a corpo Im watching and they are graduating all 9 vtubers(including a Nabi child) within 2 weeks. Most of these girls were actually bilingual kr/jp streamers but streamed mostly jp on yt. From what I can see it's basically a standard corpo implosion. There's a lot of streamer MCNs in Korea. Pixel Network, Sandbox, etc. These are HUGE gatherings of different streamers. They effectively form "streamer cartels", and all of them have lots of different connections throughout all otaku related industries.
Specifically, YUME PERCENT was ran by Gangzhi, who is one of the biggest and most influential streamers in the entirety of the Pixel Network.

Specifically, Gangzhi and many like her were part of a group of people known as "dullahans". Basically they are pngtubers.
They were called dullahans because "they don't stream their face thus, they are headless". Specifically they exploded in popularity during the original Overwatch boom. Their streaming format is basically buying multiple illustrations of their 'character' and putting that on the screen instead of a reaction cam.

For the longest time the dullahans were reclining in popularity (mostly because they were coasting off their popularity with lazy content, and becoming more and more insular). When vtubing first exploded in popularity across the world, the dullahans took too long to respond and had a huge amount of their viewership destroyed/taken away by the big two (Holo/Niji). This caused them to panic and try multiple different things to stop the recline, such as getting Live2D models, 3D models, and hosting big events. YUME PERCENT is one of those responses to the changing times. And the reason it eventually shut down was because the people running it (mainly dullahans and related people) didn't really know how to effectively run a vtuber corporation.

To answer your question, dullahan and chuuba content differ by a lot (at least in my opinion). It's difficult to articulate the differences if you don't know what a dullahan is like, but that being said, I don't think Yume Percent failed because of content difference reasons. More likely they only looked at Hololive and Nijisanji and didn't realize that setting up a corpo in Japan is actually very difficult (Just look at Re;Act, VSPO, 774, etc. vtuber corpos outside the big two have a lot of trouble staying afloat.)
It's the usual issue of overestimating how easy a business would be to setup due to inexperience and lack of knowledge on the JP market.
