Sadly that is just how things work in parts of Asia. Marketers see one thing work and think the name is like 75% of what will make their thing work. It is like how in China WeChat is big so now everything has a similar name.

Just like Niji ID and Holo ID had local vtubers and managers, and they're supposed to be speaking Indonesian. But because Ichikara and Cover didn't want to invest more into their ID branch they're forced to attract English viewers now to survive.

Contrary to that, Maha5 management invested a lot in their own market and now are able to compete with those Japanese agencies despite only speaking in Indonesian.

Can't speak for Niji ID but Holo ID speaks more english just because they debuted right when the english speaking invasion of Hololive chats was picking up. It was everywhere and they had low subs so it brought in the proto-saviors. From what I understand after a recent collab all HoloID was told they should start to pander more to ID because it is starting to really take off there.
