If you were a dad and cared you likely would've sent an email and gotten your answer. She had fun along the way, but felt vtubing transformed into something else and she doesn't want to do anything with it. Vtubing streams/content in general became the equivalent to quick junk food or at least that's what she felt, and that was what people wanted too, so low effort careless streams are more valued than videos that take more hours than streaming to make. She also had a project planned out to an extent, so it's not crazy that at a certain point it needs closure. I understand the sentiment. But the community was not about that at the start. In no other community have I seen such a huge amount of content creators per capita. Like very third or fourth person was creating something be it music, fanart, memes or whatever. It was an incredibly active community compared to the amount of viewers. We used to joke that we liked each other more than we liked beatani and even though that was a joke it had some ground in reality at the time. Most of us were, at the beginning at least, not primarily here for the bear, we were here to shitpost, schizopost and create contents with each other. This was all a big experiment. How does a vtubing community built entirely of /vt/ members function and operate? That was the experiment, but not only that it was about teaching this stupid japanese woman who quite honestly was really bad at english at the time, all the memes and culture of the western world and /vt/ in particular. I remember fondly when she called real life conspiracy theories rrats because she just assumed that was the correct word for it. It was a really good time.

The downfall probably began when it shifted to being focused about us teaching her things to being focused towards her as a person. All the jealously between dads began to destroy everything good we had. Most dads eventually genuinely fell in love with her and you can't have 2k+ guys in love with the same girl get along. It all went downhill when beatani became the de facto manager of the community rather than the crowd, and oh how she was a bad manager. She seemed to actively work to break down everything and to turn us against each other. All downhill from there. Real menhera schizo bitch, still miss it though...
