But as native EN (aus, so including whatever bastardisation we do) I don't think it being in the middle of a sentence makes much of a difference, just that the "and" makes it slightly more awkward. I'd consider, "take your time, will always be here for you" perfectly fine. considering "and" and commas are basically used interchangeably by everyone, even if they're not meant to be.... eh. doesn't seem like much of a deal to me
