Sankisei have actively improved and their performances as a gen just get better and better each time. Their choreography is also much better now that they don't need to accommodate someone who moves like a grandma. Sankisei was never as perfectly close as people wanted to believe, but they were definitely the closest friends of hololive generations so far. Maybe NePoLaBo is a tie, due to the trauma of losing Aloe, but that kind of proves the point that sankisei was the closest 5-member generation.
