Well, I think there are a lot of things that go into it. First of all, I don't think Kiara and Mori are diametrically opposed, they are very different, but they complement and balance each other out nicely. I also think people don't acknowledge well enough the things that Kiara and Mori actually do have in common. Outside of the passion for music and for the audience, Kiara and Mori have similar approaches to outings, are more of the indoor types and had similar life experiences, not to say that their hobbies are similar, even though the games they play are different. Accouting for the keyfabe, there are moments that Mori is kinda awkward or that Kiara goes a little too far with her baits, but I also think there is some sincerity in these interactions too. Mori only ever acts that way with Kiara because she is genuinely shy to be so upfront about her feelings and she only worries about it because Kiara is important to her (not saying she feels anything other than friendship, just to be clear). These /u/baits don't really bother me that much because of it, and really, outside of these baits, its very clear to see that Mori and Kiara are comfortable with one another, they have good banter and now how to tease each other, they are competitive, they stand up to each other (AWO was kino because of that), but most of all, they have a lot of fun when they are together. How can I not like Takamori when a lot of times the moments Kiara is the happiest is when she is beside Mori? I actually kinda agree with you. My only problem is when Kiara gives Mori too straightforward of a question to where if Mori responds in the negative it sounds really bad. I do enjoy that Mori is hyper-competitive when it comes to Kiara though and usually tells people to not hate on her for things like winning the shadowverse game. Ame's Supa Sundays also have nice zatsu elements where she plays around with gimmicks similar to Watame.

She is easily the second best talker in EN but she still can't deal with bigger collabs that well.
But to make up for that Ame is always the most prepared when it comes to mechanics and knowing what to do in a game so she is carrying her own in that regard.

Since Ame is HoloEN's biggest fan she might be able to see the problems they have. So maybe her podcast training arc can help making things go more smoothly in the future.
