Vtubers are likely going to start moving to YouTube or at least stream simultaneously now. Would this be concidered a good thing or a bad thing for Holo/Niji? Because on one side, at least that means that they're bringing in the twitch Vtuber viewer audience over to YouTube and have some funnel from that.
But on the other hand, it's twitch audience, and there's the possibility that the YouTube audience will be converted to the new Vtubers that migrated from Twitch. I don't think Holo won't be affected too much, because it's members are a lot more tame and and casual viewer friendly that not a lot of Vtubers go for... And I think these Holobox and Nijibox people are so proud of is going to be put to the test sometime in the near future as more creator's start moving over to YouTube. Shylili is about to have her first YouTube stream tomorrow and those are always massively buffed.

There's also the topic that if Vshojo moves over to twitch then that'll likely mean that collabs between the companies are going to be much less likely to happen now, because now they're streaming in the same platform and competing for the same audience. Overall, EN culture is diferent from Japan. Hololive´s Idol culture worked in Japan because it was focused on Japan. Even if you are not an otaku or versed into anime you may still watch and consume Hololive, culturally speaking they are mainstream enough.
EN is a completely diferent beast. There are timezones, and diferent regions that speak english. There are many Otakus, but that pales in comparison with Japan, or the possible viewership from them.
It only took another big vtuber agency to do that and show the numbers. Nijisanji EN is a melting pot of demographics, but they have at least a model of work which can capture a more mainstream fanbase than Holo EN.
