Nah. I know its fucked up, but from a business standpoint killing that branch was a good move. It was a dumpster fire and nobody in it is worth anything, and trying to salvage it stopped being a realistic option once Cover managed to lock down the ID market. Bear in mind keeping the talents around is basically free, but paying a salary to a dedicated ID management team is not.

They shut it down because of the IPO, that's pretty much certain. Whether they shut it down because it wasn't bringing in much money, or because they didn't want to explain what looks very much like a virtual whorehouse to their boomber investors is up in the air.
I'll say this though, they did just take on a dozen or so girls 2 months before yumenographia was shut down, so the idea that they suddenly became unprofitable within those two months is somewhat far fetched
